Introducing the Renogy Adventurer-Li: A Newly Improved Solar Charge Controller with Advanced Features

The Renogy Adventurer-Li boasts two notable advancements. Firstly, its programmable Lithium charging voltage enables the 30A PWM solar charge controller to charge most Lithium batteries available on the market. Secondly, the addition of an RS232 port allows users to connect and communicate with the Renogy BT-1 Bluetooth module, enabling remote monitoring and adjustment of the solar system through the Renogy DC Home smartphone app.

Designed with an aesthetically clean and integrated look, the Adventurer-Li is a negative-ground, flush-mount controller suitable for RV and camper walls. However, for those who prefer an alternative mounting method, an included Surface Mount Attachment provides the flexibility to forgo the flush-mount option.

Capable of charging both 12V and 24V photovoltaic systems, the Adventurer-Li utilizes highly efficient PWM charging to optimize battery longevity by regulating the charge flow from the solar panels to the battery bank. This charge controller also comes equipped with a comprehensive self-diagnostic system and electronic protection functions to safeguard against installation mistakes or system faults.

Featuring automatic detection of 12V or 24V DC system voltages (for non-Lithium batteries), the Adventurer-Li's LCD screen and multiple LED indicators display solar charging and battery operation information, customizable parameters, and error codes.

The Adventurer-Li's smart 4-stage PWM charging (Bulk, Boost, Float, and Equalization) further enhances battery life and system performance, while providing intelligent protection against reverse polarity, overcharging, short-circuit, and reverse current.

The negative-ground design of the Adventurer-Li ensures compatibility with any negative-ground system, the standard and most conventional grounding method. This allows for safe earth grounding of any negative connection on the solar module, battery, and load, as required.

The Adventurer-Li is compatible with a variety of battery types, including Deep Cycle Sealed (AGM), Gel, Flooded, and Lithium batteries, offering versatility to suit diverse power system needs.

Lastly, the RS232 port can be used in conjunction with the BT-1 Bluetooth module to deliver real-time energy data across the DC Home smartphone app and the Renogy ONE M1, facilitating comprehensive monitoring and control of the solar system.
